Benefit for Troy Lawrence Family

On February 10th the lodge is housing a benefit to include a dinner and auction with proceeds to go to the Troy Lawrence family.

There will be three bands out to play and provide entertainment that evening and they could use help of any kind for planning or lendiong a hand. Most of all, as always, our attendence is always appreciated to support families in times like these.

WOTM Co-Worker of the Month of February is Vickie Ward!!

Vickie is the chairman of this year's Educational Advancement Committee. She has hosted the Friday Night Kitchen during the month of January.

This is her second year of chairing a fund raising committee for WOTM; she has been a co-worker since 2005 and has served on the Audit Review Committee (which meets monthly) for many years.

We extend our thanks to her for her hard work, and thank Chereye Lunsford for sponsoring such a dedicated co-worker.

If you see Vickie, please congratulate her and be sure to leave her parking spot open this month;)

Missouri .22 Rimfire Postal Shooting Match

Gena Briggs, Sr. Regent, is challenging all the Lodges/Chapters in the state to participate in a .22 rimfire postal shooting match.

A team will consist of 5 shooters (LOOM & WOTM and their children in any combination) with an entry fee of $25/team. The team will shoot the provided targets and mail them to the official scorekeeper to be totaled. The winner will receive a trophy for display and bragging rights! How a team is determined is up to each Lodge/Chapter. The targets need to be mailed to the scorekeeper by March 1st, 2012 to be eligible. Governer Mike Yadon has Kirksville's targets and shoot details.

LOOM Pork Steak Luncheon: Friday, February 3rd from 11am to 1pm at the Moose Lodge. Carry-out orders are available. This luncheon is sponsored by the LOOM and we look forward to eating with you.

SUPERBOWL SUNDAY: Feb. 5th the lodge will be open! Everyone who comes out please bring some finger food, chips/dip, etc.

The Race is On...Box Tops, soup labels, cell phones, ink cartridges and aluminum can tabs!!! We need to be able to take them all to the Mid-year Convention in March. Collection boxes are set up in various places in the lodge--please bring them in and help make our team a winner!
